The purpose of ManuHub@WG innovation hub is to stimulate the cooperation between Western Greece entrepreneurship and the local academic environment.​

The hub’s mission is creating added value through collaborative synergies between companies and academia, promoting its members’ technical achievements, indicating funding sources, contributing to start-ups establishment and high-level job creation to the region

Sectoral coverage: The key sectors covered by Manuhub are Education​, Manufacturing, Aeronautics and Space​, Consumer goods/products​, Mobility (incl. Automotive)​.
Technological focus: The technological areas covered by Manuhub are the following: Cyber physical systems/ Robotics / Internet of things / Artificial intelligence / Advanced, or high performance computing / Big data, data analytics, data handling/Virtual, augmented and extended reality / Simulation, modelling and digital twins​/Additive manufacturing​.
Customer types: SMEs, OEMs, RTOs, Universities, Research Institutes and Start-ups are the main customer types served by Manuhub, with SME being the most typical one..
Service Offering:

Our HUB provides the following services:

Test before invest, including digital maturity assessment, demo activities for awareness raising, testing and experimentation, and knowledge and technology transfer, will help companies to develop and validate solutions in a safe and cost-effective manner

Skills and training, including two-way knowledge exchange via Teaching factory and traineeships, internships and seminars, will contribute to a normal transition to innovative technologies

Support for investment, including consultation on the creation, acceleration, and transformation of businesses, as well as funding and investment opportunities

Innovation ecosystem and networking, including a comprehensive innovation radar used at the regional, national and European levels, in order to exchange expertise gathered form European research and innovation initiatives throughout the years
