Community Days – Facilitators of Digital Innovation in Romania (translated) aims to promote the Digital Innovation Hubs part of the DIH-World network which are actively supporting the acceleration of digital technologies adoption in the regions of Romania they activate. During the event on 5th of May 2022, the three DIHs will present their activity, services and will also disseminate the results of two innovation experiments supported by DIH-World in collaboration with Transilvania DIH and Wallachia e-Hub: FurniRoboWeld and MEPHIRA.

Futures of Innovation and Technology Digital Innovation Hub is a result of the fusion of different micro-regional DIH initiatives and their key partners, aiming to develop and implement complex and multidisciplinary plan to facilitate the digital transformation of SMEs, organizations and public administrations Central Region of Romania, in order to increase the economic, social and administrative competitiveness of the region to the European level. In this sense, the consortium will capitalize its skills & knowledge concerning mature digital technologies (such as AI, Big Data, AR / VR, robotics, IoT) but also involving emerging ones (Blockchain, 5G, CPS, HPC, cyber security) to meet the needs of 4 key application sectors for the development of the region: 1. Smart cities & digital administration; 2. Industry 4.0 and industry digitalization; 3. E-health and 4. Tourism 4.0
ASIMCOV – Association of SMEs from Covasna County is founding member of FIT DIH, beside of the Association of Business Incubators of Romania, the National Council of Private Small & Medium Sized Enterprises from Romania, Metropolitan Agency for Sustainable Development of Brasov, Cluster for Innovation & Technology ALT Brasov and Iceberg Consulting (orchestrator.) Complementary, George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureş (UMPhST) joined the consortium in order to consolidate the development strategy of FIT concerning RDI projects.
ASIMCOV represent the DIH in the DIH- World project.
