The primary technology focus of KET-DIH are advanced manufacturing and photonics as Key Enabling Technologies based on the competence of the members of STEPP Cluster that is the Science, Technology and Educational Platform for Photonics in Hungary. Among them, most important contributor is the University of Szeged as member of the European Digital Innovation Hub consortium for Artificial Intelligence in Hungary.

STEPP Cluster and IQ Kecskemet Industrial Research Centre act as supporting organisation within the ADMA community and provide technology development and testing servces in advanced manufacturing and robotics.

Contribution to the development of start-up community in Szeged and exploitation of research results by technology development for business applications in photonics is implemented in cooperation with KETGATE network.

Development and monitoring of digitalisation strategy for Szeged and its region is coordinated by the Regional Innovation Agency of South Great Plain region which is complemented by cross-border cooperation with innovation centres in Romania.
