Cross-Regional Finnish DIH Community Day: Green and Digital Transition in Manufacturing
Arctic Data Intelligence and Supercomputing Ecosystem in Kainuu (AIKA) DIH and DigiCenter North Savo invite you to the 2022 Cross-Regional Finnish DIH Community Day Green and Digital Transition in Manufacturing. There is no green deal without digital. Twinning these transitions require new type of knowledge, tools, methods, processes and investments from SMEs. In this community day, we shall discuss how Finnish organizations are innovating to enable transition towards this greener, and more digital world. The event is free of charge but requires registration.

DigiCenterNS Digital Innovation Hub supports Northern Savo companies in their digital transformation journeys by providing services that improve digital skills, foster technology testing and increase networking of companies. Our hub is located in Eastern Finland, Pohjois-Savo Region and coordinated by Savonia University of Applied Science and University of Eastern Finland. The personnel of DigiCenterNS consists of around 20 employees. DigiCenterNS staff has wide experience and knowhow on AI, IoT, 5G, service development, ICT project management and digital service management.
The operations of DigiCenterNS DIH has started as a European Regional Development Fund project. The DigiCenterNS is currently participating in two projects: DIH World (Horizon 2020 project), and Digital and Intelligent Management of Service Operation (European Social Fund project).
Customers of DigiCenterNS include SMEs in areas of manufacturing, energy, health, and tourism, large companies in manufacturing, start-ups in health, public sector (municipalities, city of Kuopio), and other regional ecosystems. Many of these companies need to upgrade their processes to match the needs of digital age and deploy new technologies such as cloud, RPA, AI, as well as promote digitalization of workplace through digital collaboration and task management tools.

The services of DigiCenterNS cover 1) Technology & Knowledge Transfer Services aiming at enhancing the transfer of digital technologies and digital knowhow in North Savo area and increase the digitalization-related networking, 2) R&D&I Services aiming at providing companies with up-to-date information on features, opportunities and limitation of new digital technologies and 3) Funding and Project Preparation Services aiming at increasing funding (regional, national, international) applied in North Savo region by coaching, supporting and networking companies in the context of digitalization funding
