Additive Manufacturing: solutions and applications for sustainability
Kilometro Rosso – Innovation district organised the webinar “Additive Manufacturing: solutions and applications for sustainability” to talk about the results achieved by the 3D Coffee Project with the start-up Additive Appliances and Lisa Tech, Living Space for Additive Technology.
3D Coffee has the aim of experimentally validate, a coffee-machine heat exchanger developed using AM. The result has the potential to revolutionize the way we prepare coffee, both in domestic and professional products, making it more sustainable, more efficient, and guaranteeing high-quality coffee while also opening up the possibility of producing customized components to enhance the taste and the aroma of the so-called “Specialty Coffee”.
During the event, Intellera Consulting will talk about DIH World’s goals and activities and the start-up Caracol will explain other solutions and applications of AM technology for sustainability.
Sustainability, less waste, distributed production, and improved performance are just some of the potential advantages of additive manufacturing, which is today, in fact, firmly included among the enabling technologies for a transition to a circular economy.
The webinar will be in Italian. It will be broadcasted live on Kilometro Rosso’s social channels.
